Welcome to my Supermoto Build Series! In this series, I will be showing you the entire process of making a dirt bike street legal and converting it to a supermoto. This is being done on my 2015 Honda CRF450R. I'll cover parts needed, requirements, a little bit of installation how-to, but most of all, having fun showing you the choices I make to build a super cool custom supermoto!
In this video (Part 2), I show you my favorite seat to install on a dirt bike, dual sport, or supermoto: the Seat Concepts Comfort Seat. Dirt bike seats are awful to sit on. That's fine when you're racing or offroad and nearly always standing, but if you want to sit, which you'll find yourself doing a whole lot more on the streets, you'll feel like you're sitting on a 2x4.
There are a lot of options when it comes to aftermarket seats and seat covers, but Seat Concepts tops them all. It includes a completely new foam piece that is far more comfortable, not only from the foam density, but the new, wider shape. It also has an incredibly grippy and stylish cover.
