iPhone 7 - Unboxing & First Impressions
What is going on guys Apple Fox and what I've got here is actually a brand new iPhone 7 and in this video I will be unboxing it. It is one of the new colors, it's the matte black, not the jet black because the box would be black and also it is extremely difficult to get one of these phones. This is the 32 gygabites model which is now the lowest base storage so apple finally got rid of the 16 gb model.
But anyways the box looks a little different than we are used to. This is the first time we see the back side of the phone being displayed on the actual box, so kind of unusual. On the side of the box we can see there iPhone, not an iPhone 7 as you could expect but just an iPhone. Here we have the Apple logo. And the same thing going on on the rest of the sides.
One thing that is absolutely awesome is that you don’t need to use any kind of knife or sharp object to cut to foil in order to unbox it. But instead you have this little strap at the bottom that makes the unboxing a lot easier.
So let’s go ahead and peel off this plastic and I’m really curious to see how it’s going to look like in real life, the new matte black color. It shouldn’t get so scratched up as the jet black does and also I really hope it won’t be such a fingerprint magnet.
Okay let’s open up the box and looks like the iPhone is not the first thing we can see inside the box and instead there is the paperwork. Looks a little bit unusual as well, there stands designed by Apple in California. We have the Apple Stickers too but this time they are on a transparent background which looks better I think. I mean it’s great that Apple is trying to change some things because there are not many changes on the iPhone 7 designwise, so at least some changes inside the box.
Taking a look at the iPhone, it looks really great not only because it’s brand new and perfectly clean but the black design makes the iPhone look awesome.
Let’s put it aside for a while and take a look at the headphones, no these are not inside a the standard plastic box, but only wrapped around a piece of paper, which to me seems like it’s little less Premium but anyway on the back side we can find the adapter from lightning conector to 3,5 mm headphone jack, meaning you can keep using your old headphones if you want. Of course these Apple Earpods are connected through the lightning conector so you always have 2 options.
Inside the box you can of course find the lightning cable and also the power brick.
So finally we can take a look at actual iPhone, I’m so in love with unwrapping iPhones and I gotta tell you it looks absolutely gorgeous, wow perfectly clean. I’m of course aware that it’s the first and last time I can see this iPhone to be so clean.
So let’s boot it up for the first time. I’m kind of curious to find out how good the new homebutton is. It’s of course different when you try it out on an iPhone in Apple Store or when you can use it for a longer period of time.
And here is the page to setup the new homebutton. You can choose from 3 different types of haptic feedback, or how hard the iPhone reacts when you click the home button. I’m going to use the number 2.
