iOS 10.1 Beta 3 + How to Decline Phone Calls on Locked iPhone
What is going on guys Apple Fox here and iOS 10.1 Developer Beta 3 has been released by Apple. So as always I will be talking about the update in this video, like what is brings, some of the changes and so on. But I will also be talking about something that not everybody might be familiar with. I mean in case someone is calling you, you’re not always able to decline the call. You are able to answer it all the time but sometimes you just can’t reject the call because there’s no button on the screen. So I will also be showing you some ways how you can do it.
But at first I’m going to show you the update. Well I have said it many times and we again see the same thing going on. This version contains bug fixes and improvements. But anyways this time the update is quite smaller than the beta 2, because it is just about 50 mb.
If you’re not following my beta videos of iOS 10.1 you probably don’t know that the number one feature is actually something we were told that we’re going to get and it is the portrait mode. It’s the cool effect that blurs the background and makes the object you focus on to stand out. It is not available for any other devices except for the iPhone 7 plus. It’s not because Apple wants us to buy the most expensive iPhone but because this is the only iPhone that features the dual lense camera which is required for the portrait mode.
If you already have an iPhone 7 plus running the 10.1 and you’re one of those people who like the new portrait mode, then I have to show you this really cool trick.
When you’re taking pictures using the second lense to creat the blurred effect, make sure you don’t have this toggle turned on. If you happen to have this turned on then everytime you take portrait photo, you automatically get 2 photos, one with the effect applied and the other without. So in order to save some storage I recommend you to keep it untoggled.
This feature was already available before in the first beta of iOS 10.1. Considering that this update is really small we cannot expect some new features here. If there is something, then it is really tiny that you probably don’t even spot.
Now let’s talk about the whole rejecting call thing. Some people are confused about it. It’s because sometimes they can see both the answer and decline button when somebody is calling. But sometimes only the button to answer. This might be something you don’t know about even if you have used an iPhone for a longer time.
So this is the page you see when of course someone is calling but your phone is unlocked. If it’s not unlocked you won’t see it. You have an option to accept and decline as well, so no problem here.
But if you happen to have your iPhone locked while somebody is calling, then this is page you see. Instead of both buttons, you just have the slider to answer the call, but you’re not able to reject it.
If you want to decline the call, just have to double click the power button. It’s that easy. I’m pretty sure there are some iPhone users who had no idea about it until now.
We are coming to the end of todays video, as always I really hope you like it and if you really did then just support me with a like to let me know. Thanks a lot for watching and for your support. Make sure you also subscribe to my channel so won’t miss anything. See you in the next video.
