iOS 10 Glitches + How to Respring Your Device On Command
What is going on guys Apple Fox here and today, in this video I decided to show you, some cool glitches plus a way to respring your device on command. All of these glitches were found by me personally, that's why I'm so excited about it. Usually bugs and glitches represent the worse side of certain operating system but I just love finding out these things or trying to do some things that aren't very normal. You know it's just great. So let's get into it.
The first bug is really interesting because it works on any iPhone and it can be performed pretty much everywhere. As you know some bugs require some unique setup to perform it and it could be very limited.
So this bug is accessible in the notification center and the notification center can be accessed anywhere, in any app, so this is what I mean that it's accessible anywhere.
Here you need to swipe to the widget panel and stop somewhere in the middle, as you are there, you need use another finger and click on the search bar up there. You'll get here and as soon you lift that finger up, your phone resprings.
Why is it happening? Well it's basically because you're putting your iPhone into a situation, that's not possible to be handled. It's not because your device isn't powerful enough, but the reason is thr actual operating system.
iOS 10 is great but it's not optimized for this situation and doesn't know what to do at the moment, so it resprings. This is actually the way to respring your device on command as I mentioned in the begining.
It's also possible to use it as a way to reset the operating system without losing anything, that means everything stays like it is. People may do that when their device is running slowly in order to make it faster. I'm not sure if this is the best thing to do but it shouldn't harm your device at all.
In iOS 10 this is how the control center looks like and down, at the bottom of the screen we can find couple of icons. But if you go ahead and try to click on two icons at once, then the one that was clicked first will open up.
So if you click on timer and camera the first clicked is going to open up, doesn't matter which one it is. Or if you tap on the flash and calculator for example, it manges to open the calculator app and turn on the flash at the same time. And that is okay but the problem is when the 3D Touch is engaged.
As you know you can access some toggles, this is for those of you who have iPhone 6s or 7, you can perform a 3D Touch on the icons down here. So you get these toggles.
And if you try to apply 3D Touch on two icons at once, the iPhone will kind of glitch out. I'm not sure if this is how it's supposed to be but as you can see both of these icons have opened up the 3D Touch toggles. The one you clicked first is showing the toggles in the front and the second one is in the background.
If you look closely you can see it in background and the best part about it is that it works. So even the toggles that are blurred in the background are clickable and do the same as they would normally.
So as you can see it can get me into the calculator even if the calculator toggle is blurred in the background and that is really cool in my opinion.
You can try to access the toggles of two apps at once and when you click somewhere else at first the toggles in the background disappear and after clicking one more time the toggles in front will go away.
So that is actually the end of todays video, thanks a lot for watching, hopefully you enjoyed and just like always, if you want to see more videos like this then just click the subscribe button, it really helps the channel out. Hava a great day.
